Welcome to Prairie Ridge Middle School!

My name is Jason Aker and I am excited to serve as the principal of Prairie Ridge Middle School.  Our mission is to engage all students in an educational experience that equips them with the skills to flourish in and contribute to an ever-changing world. One of the first, major, changes in students' life is the transition from elementary school to middle school. This transition can be an exciting time for students and their families. Increased independence, making new friends, and the opportunity to participate in new activities will be both exciting and challenging experiences for our students. For our parents, middle school is a time to see their children experience new changes and milestones. It will be exciting to watch them continue to grow socially and academically. We have an amazing staff of talented people that teach and lead with a student first mindset focused on the success of all Prairie Ridge students. We value, and will foster, the partnership between our staff and our students' parents and families to ensure trust, respect, and consistent communication during this important time in our students' lives. It is a privilege for me to be a part of the Prairie Ridge community and I look forward to working with you to create an amazing middle school experience for your child.
